A recent survey by Criptan reveals that Spanish cryptocurrency investors predominantly favor Bitcoin (BTC) and USD Coin (USDC), with a strong inclination toward long-term investment strategies. In Galicia, the average annual investment in cryptocurrencies exceeds €3,500, slightly higher than the national average of €3,100. Bitcoin is the preferred cryptocurrency among Galician investors, accounting for 57% of investments, followed by USDC at 21.2%, and Euro at 11.8%. This trend highlights a preference for established cryptocurrencies and stablecoins among Spanish investors.

The typical Spanish crypto investor is predominantly male (over 85%), with an average age of 40 years. In terms of employment, nearly 70% are salaried employees, about 18% are self-employed, and approximately 7% are students.
